is a singer, brilliant harmonica player, and a frontman of one of the best and the most successful Czech rock bands set up in the sixties, e. g. The Primitives Group starring at the The Czech Beat Festival.
However, thanks to a brotherly help from the Russian military troops in1968, Ivan decided to leave Czechoslovakia for his exile in Sweden. At present he still lives in Malmö, Sweden.
He spends his time composing and recording his own rhytm&blues music, which he performes along with his cover versions of The Doors, Eric Clapton and other rock´n´roll and blues classics.
He has been performing throuout Denmark, Germany and the Czech Republic since 1990 currently accompanied by Doctor Tom´s Blues Cabin.
